Belvoir Garage Servicing
Most car owners service their car every year or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Servicing proactively maintains your car, reducing the risk of a breakdown and the extra cost of recovery. Even if it is irregular, servicing can help maintain your car’s day to day running and overall reliability.
Our mechanics are trained to service any make and model of car using the latest techniques and diagnostic equipment, providing a friendly, straightforward and honest service that you can rely on.
Here at Belvoir we are fully equipped to service all passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, this includes hybrid and small commercials. Being a service centre we use manufacturer grade engine oil and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specification service parts, hence the reason why several fleet operators trust us to maintain their vehicles.
So whether your car needs an oil change or a major service and MOT, we’re fully equipped.
Does your car need a service?
Most modern cars only need a service once a year, but older cars require a service once every six months.
The manufacturer’s service handbook will set what is best for your car. The type of service you need will also be affected by how you use your car. For example, lots of short journeys where the engine does not have a chance to warm up properly will probably mean more frequent oil and filter changes.
Any additional work that needs doing on your car will be reported to you beforehand. The price agreed before the service will be the price you pay at the end unless you agree to additional work.
A full service?
Our full service is recommended roughly every 10,000 miles or once a year, depending on manufacturer requirements and previous service history. It’s a full check, with filter replacements, level top ups and all the necessary adjustments. If unsure of your vehicles service requirements or schedule please feel free to contact Belvoir Garages and our staff will be able to help.
Here at Belvoir we understand the importance of an MOT and service.
That’s why we offer a competent and competitive service to our customers. If your vehicle is 3 years or older you are required by law to have an annual safety check, an MOT. The purpose of the MOT is to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law.
Vehicles must have a valid MOT certificate. Without one you won’t be able to tax your car.
